Dr. Brian J. Chandler, D.C.
Dr. Brian J. Chandler, D.C. has lived in the Traverse City area since 1996. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Chandler enjoys hiking, boating, fishing, scuba diving, motorcycling, and carpentry. Dr. Chandler graduated with honors (magna cum laude) from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He is the recipient of the William Rehm medal for an outstanding chiropractic journal article and has been published in the Journal for The Association for the History of Chiropractic. Dr. Chandler practices full spine and extremity adjusting using Gonstead and Diversified chiropractic techniques, soft tissue techniques (trigger point and myofascial release therapy), and passive modalities (low- level laser therapy, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation). Dr. Chandler has advanced training and experience with extremity adjusting and rehabilitation. Extremities include shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and the temporal mandibular joint (TMJ). Dr. Chandler has gone above and beyond his core nutritional curriculum and taken extra courses and seminars focused on nutrition. Dr. Chandler has traveled to New Delhi and Hyderabad India to provide humanitarian chiropractic care to those in need seeing hundreds of patients. He also has volunteered his time in community outreach clinics and rehabilitation centers in the Davenport, Iowa and Traverse City areas.Dr. Chandler’s vision for each patient is to offer non-invasive health and wellness care through specific chiropractic management to restore and maintain structure, function, and quality of life promoting longevity and vitality for all ages.
